Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is an historical sikh shrine present there which was discovered by Baba Narayan Hari, the history of the gurdwara sahib is mentioned in Bhai Bala Janamsakhi and Twarikh Guru Khalsa. Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is located where Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji was with his Sikhs(Bhai Bala Ji & Bhai Mardana Ji) in the Himalaya mountains of India. His sikhs were hungry and there was no food.

Braham Giani Sant Baba Narain Hari Ji

Braham Giani Sant Baba Narain Hari Ji took his formal birth in Cambelpur (Pakistan) Tehsil Fatehganj, village Hattar in the home of Shri Jawala Sahai from the pious womb of Matta Lajwanti Ji in the year 1909. When he was yet in his infancy, a Saint of divine disposition declared him to be a very fortunate one. He said “This child will become either a great Saint or a Ruler”. On account of very good deeds done in his previous births Narain Hari took the road to salvation very early in life through hard and protracted meditation. He was the brother of five sisters and the only son of his well known parents. He was physically strong and well built. He lost his parents in childhood and was nursed and reared by his Uncle Dewan Chand and his aunt Soma Wanti (his father’s sister) with all the love and affection showered on him.

Her Holiness Pujay deva Ji is leading a life a celibacy and is wholly and soly looking after the spiritual programmes of the celestial shrine, based on the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji irrespective of caste, colour, creed or country with pure secular touch to bless the whole community and not particularly any community.

Devotion means to surrender onself to someone selflessly. It is very difficult to find such a person in the present world but not impossible. Baba Ram ji is such a person who has devoted himself to Baba Narayan hari ji. The virtuas of Baba Narayan hari ji had spread far and wide who had undertaken many journeys from Pakistaan to Hindustan in search of a holy place and set up a Gurudwara to help the poor, the needy, the orphans.

Hot Springs

By taking bath here and by drinking water of this place, people go to Heaven, this is said of the Manikaran tract since the times immemorial. It is just like 'Kashi Kshetra' and there is no doubt about it. On examination it is understood that the Manikaran hot spring is said to have got Uranium and other radio active minerals.

Hindu Mythology

Manikaran is located 35 km from Bhuntar, near Kullu. Legend has it that once Lord Shiva and his divine consort Parvati were wandering in this sublime environment. Shiva liked the place and started meditating. Meanwhile, Parvati started taking a bath in the blue waters.

Lord Ramchandra Temple

There are several temples in the Mani Karan village. The most important is that of Lord Ramchandra. The Pandas or priests of the village claim that the idol of Rama was brought from Ayodhya and installed in this temple by the Raja of Kulu but this lacks a historic confirmation.

Harinder Mountain & Parvati River

On the northern side, there is a mountain, which is named as Harinder. Merely a look at this mountain will make a person free from all evils and on the south is the Parvati River.

Kulant Pith

Out of all sectors 'Piths' of the country, this sector, which is called 'Kulant Pith', is the superior most. Here, the most sacred place of pilgrimage is Manikaran, and in it the 'Vishnu Kund' is the purest of all.
